Spinal Decompression

According to the CDC approximately 25% of Americans suffer with back pain. There are a lot of people who suffer with a short bout of neck or back pain, but what options do you have when you are dealing with chronic, severe pain? What options are available other than surgery? You cannot function on pain pills for the rest of your life. The good news is that there are proven options available when it comes to alleviating or resolving severe, chronic, neck or back pain. And keep in mind that there are many different causes of chronic back and neck pain. Depending upon the cause, certain options need to be considered. In certain circumstances, surgery may be required; however, why not investigate all of the other options first, leaving surgery as a “last resort”?

I have over 23 years of experience in practice. Although my degree is in chiropractic, it’s my postgraduate training in chiropractic neurology and functional endocrinology that allows me to get results where other chiropractors, MD’s, physical therapists, and pain management doctors have either failed, or have been able to offer very little help.

Spinal Decompression is offered in my office. Chiropractic neurological techniques, brain based therapies, and functional endocrinology, along with spinal decompression, is responsible for helping people overcome severe low back pain, neck pain, arm pain, leg pain, herniated discs, bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, posterior facet syndrome, sciatica, spinal stenosis, and in some cases, failed back surgeries.

There are many different forms of spinal decompression. Some manufacturers will provide more “bells and whistles”, but the bottom line is that the strategy of spinal decompression is pretty much the same. The patient lies on a comfortable table. The table contains a computer along with a cable that is attached to the patient using a special belt/harness. The computer generates a gentle amount of pulling force through the cable to the harness, which “decompresses” the bones of the spine. This is an extremely comfortable process, and highly effective when it comes to severe back and neck pain. It is extremely safe. Providing that an individual qualifies for this type of care, spinal decompression along with chiropractic neurology, brain based therapies and other forms of care I offer can be the difference between whether or not an individual will require surgery. Herniated discs, bulging discs, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, spinal stenosis which can all lead to severe back, neck, leg, or arm pain, have all proven to respond well to this type of care.

If you are looking for more information as to what options are available to you, call the office today to schedule your $27 screening. During the $27 screening you can discuss your health history, review previous care, I’ll discuss the type of testing and care that may be best for you, I’ll discuss the cost involved, and I will answer your questions so that you can decide if this approach is right for you.
